Early Childhood Assistant Teacher
The Early Childhood Assistant Teacher will assist the Lead Teacher with all aspects of caring for students, ages 2.5 - 6 years, while providing a safe, nurturing, and orderly environment which meets the needs of the children in their care. The EC Assistant Teacher should be friendly, open, well-spoken, warm, and have an interest in Waldorf Early Childhood education. In order to create a harmonious environment, flexibility, presence, and a cooperative spirit are essential for the children to receive the teacher and assistant as a guiding unit. Outdoor play is part of the daily Early Childhood program, and the EC Assistant Teacher should come prepared for all sorts of outdoor activities and weather.. Full Time Eurythmy Teacher
Join our thriving eurythmy program as a full-time teacher, guiding students from Nursery to Grade 8 in this rich and engaging art form. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, eurythmy training from an accredited program, and a passion for enriching children’s lives through movement and expression. Academic Support Assistant
The Waldorf School of Baltimore is seeking an Academic Support Assistant to join our dedicated Student Services Team and Academic Director. As an Academic Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support, fostering academic growth, and nurturing a supportive learning community. In this multifaceted position, you will have the authority to execute various responsibilities crucial to the smooth operation of our academic programs. Your duties will encompass a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to responding to inquiries from faculty, coordinating academic support programs, maintaining records, and monitoring student progress. Nature Studies Teacher
As a Waldorf Elementary Teacher specializing in Nature Studies, you hold a vital role in nurturing a profound bond between students and the natural world. Your mission is to lead children on captivating journeys of discovery, guiding them to explore and develop a relationship with the marvels of nature. Through rich, immersive experiences, you instill in them a deep sense of wonder, and reverence, and work to develop a sense of stewardship towards the environment.
In addition to enriching the educational experience of the WSB school community, this position serves as a catalyst for advancing eco-literacy and sustainability practices. You will lead the development, integration, and advocacy of environmental education initiatives within the curriculum and throughout the school's operations, fostering a culture of environmental stewardship and ecological awareness. This job is year-long with some over-the-summer stewardship requirements.
