Maryland also drew praise as 1st in African American-owned firms with paid employees, 2nd in women-owned firms, 3rd in African American-owned firms (U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census, 2012). Our middle school basketball teams go to NY to compete in an intra-mural weekend, hosted by Green Meadow Waldorf school.

We will focus on how the Waldorf curriculum can meet a culturally diverse group of students and prepare them to understand their local and global communities.  We will also discuss how the local and US history and geography curriculum includes opportunities to explore the indigenous cultures.
