Early Childhood Assistant Teacher

The Early Childhood Assistant Teacher will assist the Lead Teacher with all aspects of caring for students, ages 2.5 - 6 years, while providing a safe, nurturing, and orderly environment which meets the needs of the children in their care. The EC Assistant Teacher should be friendly, open, well-spoken, warm, and have an interest in Waldorf Early Childhood education. In order to create a harmonious environment, flexibility, presence, and a cooperative spirit are essential for the children to receive the teacher and assistant as a guiding unit. Outdoor play is part of the daily Early Childhood program, and the EC Assistant Teacher should come prepared for all sorts of outdoor activities and weather.. Development Manager

The Waldorf School of Baltimore is seeking a Development Manager to lead fundraising efforts aligned with our Strategic Plan. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role involves creating and executing strategies for the Annual Fund, grants, and capital campaigns. Key responsibilities include cultivating donor relationships, engaging alumni, and promoting a culture of philanthropy within the school community. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a background in nonprofit fundraising or development. Full job description attached below. Part Time Art/Woodshop Teacher (60%)

The Art/Woodwork Teacher is a part-time role focused on teaching art to grades 3-8 students, emphasizing sculptural and two-dimensional forms using mediums such as beeswax, clay, metal, wood, watercolors, and drawing. Additionally, the position curates gallery shows exposing students' work to the Baltimore community and integrates artistic activities into academic themes. Students develop skills in woodworking, clay sculpting, watercolor painting, drawing, and linoleum printing, fostering problem-solving, self-discipline, and self-confidence in creative expression with the aim of impacting other areas of their lives positively. Social Emotional Learning Teacher

As the Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Teacher at the Waldorf School of Baltimore, you will provide guidance, consultation, and professional development for staff on Waldorf-inspired behavior management strategies and supports. You will be working with implementing Kim John Payne’s program for Integrated Student Support. You will work closely with students focusing on their Social Care- their behavioral and social-emotional learning needs within the context of Waldorf education values and principles, as well as support teachers and parents in rolling out student social-emotional support and learning.
