Nicole has a Master’s of Business Administration from Georgetown University and started her career in San Francisco by founding a financial training internet startup with two other GU graduates. After successfully soliciting VC financing and getting the company more established, Nicole moved to New York City where she headed Human Resources at a top Manhattan hedge fund.  Working in the cut-throat financial industry helped her to realize that she preferred a more fulfilling career, and she became a middle school teacher in a small private school in Brooklyn. Family life took over as she moved to London with her banker husband, Justin, and adjusted to the English lifestyle. After having three children, Nicole returned to teaching at TASIS England, an American K - 12 boarding school.  In 2014, Nicole and her husband returned to America, and she became a Middle School English and Social Studies teacher at Christ Episcopal School (CES), in Rockville, MD. Throughout her years at CES, she has held several positions including teacher, Middle School Head, Assistant Head of School, and now finally Head of School.  While working at CES makes her happy and fulfilled, you will still find her pursuing outside interests such as playing ice hockey and participating in adventure races.

Nicole joined WSB’s Board of Trustees in the fall of 2021.
