McKenzie, a Baltimore native and graduate of Dulaney High School in 2012, brings a holistic approach to her role at The Waldorf School of Baltimore (WSB). Following her high school journey, McKenzie ventured into the world of holistic wellness, completing a Yoga Teacher Training through the University of Maryland Center for Integrative Medicine.
Her journey then led her to the west coast, where she dedicated her time to nannying and studying herbalism, culminating in her doula certification in 2019. McKenzie has seamlessly integrated her diverse skills and passion for holistic well-being into her role at WSB as a Children’s Garden Aftercare and Afternoon Assistant Teacher.
Beyond her professional endeavors, McKenzie finds joy in nature, reading, and expressing her creativity through jewelry making. Her multifaceted background enriches the Waldorf community, providing a nurturing and well-rounded environment for the children under her care. McKenzie is not just an assistant teacher; she is a guide promoting holistic growth and well-being in the Children's Garden.
