Kirsten currently serves as Senior Director of HR at Baltimore Public Media, WTMD 89.7-FM in Towson & WYPR 88.1-FM in Baltimore. She studied at George Washington University and Towson University, earning a B.A. in Art History and holds a Foundation Management Certification from UMGC. She is currently enrolled in the Maryland Certified Public Manager Program through the University of Baltimore. Kirsten spent 20+ years working in the live-music industry for IMP Productions, 930 Club in Washington D.C. and Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD before landing at WTMD in 2014 as the Director of Finance and Administration and later as the Interim Station Manager. She is delighted to be working for a non-profit member-supported radio company that provides both AAA-music and local & NPR news to her community. She resides in Towson with her husband, Tim and her two daughters, Emily and Molly.
