Za, the vibrant first-grade teacher at the Waldorf School of Baltimore since 2023, brings a unique journey to education. With a B.S. in Marine Science from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL, Za's passion for teaching ignited during her time as an English teacher in Seoul, South Korea. Upon returning to the U.S., she furthered her education, earning an M.Ed. and Waldorf Teaching Certification at Antioch, New England in 2013.
This marks Za's second round of class teaching, as she previously graduated a fifth-grade class at Potomac Crescent Waldorf School in 2018. Beyond the classroom, Za enjoys sewing, dancing, and cooking with friends. Her love for her family, including her husband and daughter, enriches her life and teaching with warmth and connection. Za's diverse experiences and dedication make her an invaluable asset to our school community.
