Festival of Courage: Throughout the school year, WSB incorporates a number of seasonal events, such as the Festival of Courage, designed to reach students in mind, body, and spirit. The foundations of this Festival celebrate human courage as the days begin to darken and our attention turns towards fortifying our courage for winter.

Caregivers encouraged to attend. Please arrive by 12:55pm in advance of the 1pm Procession of the Grades onto the Fields. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for comfort. 

All families and students are requested to wear their most fiery red attire to the Festival of Courage, (unless given different instructions by your class teacher.)

1pm: Procession of the Grades & Michaelmas Pageant (Grades 2-8) 

1:30pm: Field Games & Plantings

3:00pm: Children's Garden Dismissal/Student Sign Out

3:20pm: Elementary Dismissal/Student Sign Out

3:30pm-5:00pm: Community Picnic. Apples, Bread and Apple Butter Provided (feel free to pack your own picnic if your family would enjoy a fuller meal. Please also bring your water bottle)
