We are thrilled to invite you to a heartwarming celebration of our Waldorf community’s rich history and vibrant future! On Saturday, November 2nd, from 3:30pm p.m. to 8 p.m., reconnect with old friends, share cherished memories, and create new ones at our all-school reunion.
Who’s Invited:
All alumni, alumni parents, alumni grandparents, current and former faculty, past and present board members—every cherished member of our Waldorf family (21 and over) is warmly welcomed to join us for this special community reunion.
Honoring Classes Celebrating Decade Reunions:
1974, 1984, 1994, 2004, and 2014
This event is open to all those who identify as alums and former community members, whether you graduated 8th grade with the class or not, and whether or not you graduated in one of the above years.
Event Schedule:
3:30-4:00 p.m.: Welcome Reception in the Courtyard
Kick off the evening with a warm welcome and catch up with old friends. Enjoy coffee, tea, cider and a selection of delightful snacks.
4:00-4:40 p.m. & 4:50-5:30 p.m.: Activities
Engage in a variety of enriching activities, co-hosted by both treasured past and current staff:
- Alumni Basketball
- Children’s Garden Crafting: Lantern Making
- Middle School Geometry through Origami
- Nature Hike / Grounds Tour
- Eurythmy
- Watercolor Painting
- Community Knitting
5:30-6:00 p.m. : Break/Classrooms Open for Touring
Explore our classrooms, read notes from current students, view Main Lesson Books and student art on display, and enjoy a leisurely break.
6:00-8:00 p.m. : Live Music and Al Fresco Dinner
Savor a delightful Maryland-centric meal featuring:
- Local Craft beer, Wine, Kombucha, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Raw Oysters on the Half Shell
- Chargrilled Oysters, garlic herb tomato butter
- Maryland Crab Soup and Hearty Fall Vegetable Soup
- Fresh bread (both gluten-free and gluten-full)
- Seasonal Salad
-Children’s Garden Ginger Birthday Cake and Fresh Fruit for Dessert
Be prepared to shake some cream into butter and enjoy the live music!
