Join us for a morning of Mending and say SO LONG to throw-away culture one stitch at a time. 

Bring your clothes, quilts or stuffies in need of repair (button replacement, patching up holes, stitching tears, hemming loose clothing, and more) or pull up a chair to learn (or teach) mending techniques with WSB Fiber Arts Teacher Maren Jung and WSB Parent/Reception Janet Henry. Open to the entire community - not just Waldorf families! Warm drinks and warm conversation provided.

Parent Orientation (Virtual)

Parents will be walked through practical questions about life at school, for example, the new drop-off and dismissal procedures, what your child needs to bring to school each day, any remaining COVID protocols, and new plans for the school year. Please plan on at least one parent from each family attending as some things have changed.

FAREWELL Summer Community Playdate

Say “farewell!” to the magic of summer with a morning of family fun at The Waldorf School of Baltimore! Get crafty with early childhood teachers from Waldorf School, go on a family nature scavenger hunt, experience the magic of bubbles with Angelo and Marie’s Fantastic Bubble Show, join the drum circle with musicians from Stages Music Arts, and more! Plus you’ll get to explore the gorgeous outdoor classrooms and play spaces at Waldorf School and nosh on healthy snacks.

Pot Luck Party for Pat's, Nina's and Edna's Retirement

We will be celebrating the legacies of Pat Whitehead, Nina Jones and Edna Emmet with a casual pot-luck party in the pavilion. Please park on the  street not down the driveway. Over 21s only please.

Beverages and desserts will be provided.
